Seth Coscia is a composer with a passion for music that spans across all genres. Using personal experiences, he creates music that helps express the story being told. Focusing more in the digital composing realm, Seth looks to find inspiration from the contemporary composing traditions and implement them into his own style that perfectly complements any visual media it is paired with. Seth will lean more towards a darker and dissonance sound when it comes to his compositions with a sound that strives for discomfort. With a good relationship with the University of Hawaii’s animation department, Seth has been able to contribute to multiple media projects to ensure students receive the sound designs and compositions they desire. Typically composing for duets or trios, Seth is currently working on larger ensembles. Seth is dedicated to creating music that is both unique and memorable. After graduating from the University of Hawaii with a B.A. in Music and studying under Dr. Donald Womack, Dr. Takuma Itoh, Dr. Thomas Osborne, and Dr. William Watson for composition, Seth plans to continue his studies in music to learn what else there is to offer.
